Web Design Client Work

This was a development task for a web site designed by Print Solutions and developed by ourselves.

The site was built using Joomla 2.5 CMS with PHP additions to the overall Joomla template.

Our work involved generating the Joomla template from a PDF and supplied design, adding Joomla modules for improved site usability, creating a rotating banner, and implementing content plus a contact page. In summary we:

1. Created a rotating banner using JQuery and image manipluation in Photoshop
2. Created the site mast head in photoshop from a PDF supplied design
3. Added scrolling banners on specific pages
4. Implement a scrolling news banner on the home page
5. Provide the ability for ongoing news updates and web site functionality expansion in future
6. Upload the Joomla database and folder structure

The site has been live since 12th March 2012.

This was a bilingual (Russian/English) site designed by Print Solutions and coded by ourselves for Aircraft Engineer resource suppliers.

We coded the website, using Joomla 2.5 for content management with the following functionality:

1. Have a home page in both English and Russian
2. Include a contact page
3. Develop the site under a tight deadline for an overseas conference demonstration
4. Assist in the hosting set up and upload the Joomla database / files manually
5. Allow the site to be updatable for future site expansion

The site was deployed on February 27th 2012 after a short, hectic but enjoyable 2 week development timeline.

A simple 7 page website to replace an existing site improving the online portfolio of a communications and PR business owner.

The web site was designed in conjunction with DCM Graphics and coded by ourselves.

The site was hand coded using DHTML/CSS with image creation using Photoshop.

In summary we:

1. Created the 7 web site pages from a supplied Photoshop project, and created a CSS/HTML framework to build the site on
2. Added PDF links for further information on Clare's previous experience in the communications sector
3. Added a Google map API for the contact page

The site was deployed to a live server on 16th January 2012.

Our involvement was to take the design, provided by Printing Solutions and bring the web site to life!

The site was hand coded in PHP, using CSS and JavaScript, and included the following tasks:-

1. Create a new Flash banner for the company's logo with a cool shine effect
2. Have the company's goals and mission statement fade in/out on the new banner
3. Code 11 pages of PHP including a contact form
4. Add new content for the company's products and information
5. Build the menu navigation bar from scratch
6. Include SEO on page coding (meta description, title tag addition etc) using specified keywords

The site has been live since mid December 2011

The brief was to take a design, supplied by Printing Solutions for a recruitment company called Merit UK.

We coded the website in PHP/HTML, using Joomla for content management, and adding the following functionality:

1. Add initial content, news letters and 8 web pages to the web site and include a news ticker and vertical scrolling banner for testimonials on the home page
2. Incorporate a job search and job list
3. Add initial content to the web site the home page
4. Have a page for current vacancies and contact for the company
5. Allow the site to be updatable by the client
6. Provide a quick user guide to uploading new articles using Joomla

The site was made live at the beginning of December 2011.

The brief was to re-design the existing web site, using Joomla for content management, and add the following functionality.

The site was designed and developed in Joomla 1.7 CMS by ourselves.

Our work involved generating the Joomla template from a PDF and supplied design, creating a rotating banner, implementing content and a contact page. In summary we:

1. Allow the site to be updatable by the client
2. Enable users to register to the site for access to members only area
3. Allow users to purchase products supplied by Horselistic
4. Have contact and consultation booking emails sent to Horselistic on request
5. Include a custom search engine for the site

The site was made live at the end of November 2011
